Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray.
Mark 1:35 NLT
What does your prayer life look like right now?
There is always an excuse, a reason why it can’t be done early: I’m waiting to be alone in my room. I want to establish a routine. It’s too noisy. It’s too quiet. I get distracted by hunger. I get distracted by work. I get distracted by worries, anxieties, people, the problems of the entire world.
There’s always a reason. But it’s never the right one.
Besides, all of these reasons absolutely make the case for why you should be making time to pray.
And why it should be early in the morning, before you start your day.
Yes, it will be troublesome. It will be outside your comfort zone. It will take some getting used to.
But it has to be done.
The title is a misnomer. God has already made time, and provided it for us. Equally, because He is a God of order.
We need merely to allocate it as necessary.
