It is raining today. Right on queue. Just as the chorus was swelling out of the devotion song for today, I got out of my room, and saw that it was pouring sheets of water down. This is a no nonsense rain. This is rain that hampers visibility. This is a rain that could cause floods. And we receive it. Like the song says, we receive it with great anticipation.
I don’t want to make this fast all about the food. I don’t. But it’s so difficult. I’m so aware of what I’m giving up. My stomach hurts. I feel weak. But that is nothing compared to the headache that these hunger pangs are giving me.
