What a humbling thing it is that the things I’m experiencing, the doubts and fears and questions, are not really just mine at all, not so unique to me, but rather are actually very common and basic. I don’t have very unique problems, I’m not the only one going through whatever it is I’m complaining about recently, I’m not so wretched and miserable that God had to assign me a problematic situation that’s all my own, singled out to suffer alone. It implies that whatever it is, there’s a solution. Other, probably better people than me, have gone through it and survived.
I’m so glad to have Him in my life, finally letting Him in.
