When the widow asked Elisha for help, she was probably a bit baffled by the response at first. She needed money, plain and simple, and there was nothing in the house. Yet Elisha still asked.
Because we will never come to a point when we will have *nothing*. There will always be something that we have, some blessing that we might have overlooked. And that something, God can and will multiply until it overflows to even more than we need.
Yes. There’s always something isn’t it. You take two steps forward, and one step back. And then another step back. And then another.
And then you find yourself backing up to a wall. Or an abyss.
