Lord I lift up this day to You. From the very beginning of it, I lift it up to You. Thank You for a restful sleep. Thank you for a dreamless night. Thank you for the rest that You gave to my body, for the restoration.
I lift up to You the start of this work week. Jesus, be my wisdom today. I will work faster because of You. You will focus my mind on the things at hand. I will do miraculous things in Your Name.
Help me to respond well to my colleagues and to my leaders. Stay my tongue, still my soul — this is still the prayer of my heart.
Help my mind to focus on the work at hand Lord.
And as You are with me in my workplace, continue to be with him in the places he goes. Do not let him go hungry. Do not give him any pain. Be the peace that settles in his mind and in his heart. Give him the clarity that he needs. Strengthen his convictions. Remind him who he is in You.
Lord You know how it still hurts. How I still cry sometimes. Thank you for helping me manage my emotions. I am nothing without You Jesus. You are everything and I am nothing.
Lord of all that is good and true and pure and just, help me to remain in You all throughout the rest of this day.
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.
