Now it shall spring forth
Isaiah 43:19 NKJV
Put in the effort to intentionally increase your Holy Spirit awareness and embrace this reality of Christian living
There are different kinds of miracles that God allows us to witness.
There are those that happen in a slow burn kind of way. Like for something that is being eagerly anticipated, yet is taking so very long. When they eventually come to pass, it is miraculous in that it was almost deemed impossible to be granted.
Like when you want to change your career, or are looking for a new job. Or maybe you have been expecting a promotion for many years. Maybe you are waiting for an application to be approved. When they finally come to pass, it feels like a heavy weight has been lifted.
Then there are those miracles that come in an instant.
These are the ones that we usually hear about, because they are more exciting, more dramatic to behold. The lame person walks, the blind man sees, and the mortally sick is cured immediately. Amazing and almost impossible to believe, these incidents are almost fantastical in nature. Magical even.
It is unfortunate that charlatans have laid claim to this sensationalised, thrill-seeker kind of event. So much so that what should instil wide-eyed wonder introduces an element of doubt instead. In this day and age of high technology and ultra fast networks and information right at everyone’s fingertips, contrasting opinions and “solid evidence” can be searched for and found in a flash.
However, God is reminding us in this snippet of passage that sudden, instantaneous miracles are altogether possible, for anyone and at anytime. It can come at a moment’s notice. It can spring forth.
It’s a stretch to believe, even for staunch Christians.
But do the work. Put in the effort. Intentionally increase your Holy Spirit awareness and embrace this reality of Christian living. Accept that it is possible for you to have this kind of wonderful testimony, answered prayers that spring forth seemingly out of nowhere.
Discerning Christians know though. It comes from God. He has already begun.
Get ready for the outpour.
But do the work. Put in the effort. But do the work. Put in the effort. But do the work. Put in the effort. But do the work. Put in the effort. But do the work. Put in the effort. But do the work. Put in the effort. But do the work. Put in the effort. But do the work. Put in the effort. But do the work. Put in the effort.
