You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
Philippians 2:5 NLT
Today started out as a test of patience. I woke up to slamming doors as people were fighting outside my room. I read a disappointing message from someone in my ministry who was making questionable choices in her life. I read another message that told me the work thing I had been praying for has still not materialized.
And all of it threatened to derail the rest of my day. My soul felt tarnished; tired even before the day began, even before I had gotten out of bed.
But it was my mistake anyway. To do anything, or even think anything, before turning to God, and saying good morning to Jesus.
Because the situation around us can be less than perfect, but when we see through the eyes of the Lord, feel with His heart instead of ours, all is made right.
In His time, all will be revealed and resolved. But as I wait, I put on the mantle of His love, and am still before Him who has made all things good, and will make all things new.
