I have a novel idea that I want to share with you.
What if, just what if, we do a fasting on coffee for two weeks.
Wait, stop, hear me out… Stop screaming for a second, and just listen!
These days, coffee has been more than a stimulant for you hasn’t it? I mean, I know that it starts your work day, and it’s a useful time keep and all that. I know what a great trigger it is, to get your brain moving and buzzed enough to start your tasks and et cetera.
And I’m not saying that it’s wrong necessarily. I can’t; I’m part of you. I also benefit greatly from the occasional, or not so occasional, brew. We’re not addicted or anything like that. Right?
That’s why I’m just suggesting; why don’t you try and do fasting on it as well, apart from the food fast.
Which, congratulations on that by the way, you really held out today. No comment on what happened after 5PM, but let’s just say that you need to pray for more self-control tomorrow.
So what do you think? You think you can hold out, for two entire weeks, without caffeine? That includes both hot and cold, in and out of the office. And that includes weekends as well. And also, weeknights when you have to do something that requires energy. Like practices and such.
What do you think? Do you think you can do it?
