Day 8 Easter Fast 2013

241 1

The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

Matthew 9:37

Blessings abound all around us.  Opportunities to reap, and even more opportunities to bless.

But before all that even, consider your field.  A well planted field is one that is turned over every season, one that sees a rotation of sowing and reaping, one that is actively and intentionally being prepped and made healthy.  Where are you being called to plant, to sow, to grow?

Lord, open my eyes so that I may know where you are calling me to go.  May my heart always and ever be healthy soil for your Word to flourish in my life. Amen.

  1. Easter 2013. She must’ve been so busy. Not yet full time in the ministry, but still already so involved in Church programming. Fully flourishing in the life group, might have been leading the all men’s LG that time.

Oh, and travelling! Travelling so much, excited about the planning and the prepping, and the going. Not taking pictures, never had penchant for that before, or since. Mission trips, or just plain touring trips.

She loved to travel for sure.

Anyway. The above talks about a rotation of sowing and reaping, and the importance of a healthily tilled field.

Her field had been tilled alright. To shambles. To almost unrecognizable shambles.
