It’s all a matter of perspective. What is a mountain? From a plane it’s just a big rock. From outer space it’s just a pebble! A grain of sand even. It’s all in the position we put ourselves in, or in the view we choose to take. A tiny insect seen close up is as fierce and horrifying as any old monster we could dream up.
Sometimes all it takes is for us to turn something over and look at it from a different point of view. Seen from the top, a rubics cube is just a square with pretty colors in a grid. But turn it to it’s side and see that it has many sides and complexities.
It’s also a matter of what we choose to believe. Once we’ve settled on which side we are going to take, we then decide on what to think about it. When we have gone over all the facts and considered all the options, we can then make an informed decision about it.
Once our mind has been set then the heart will naturally follow.
