Love is patient.
1 Corinthians 13:4
This is one for the homestretch. When the final hour of the fast is making itself known by the knock knock knocking of the worms in your tummy, demanding to be fed.
But more so, it is also a state of mind; a virtue that can only come from God. When it seems like you are texting empty air, because no one is responding. When you are wondering if maybe you have the wrong numbers, or the wrong groups, because they are not answering. This is my mantra for when my heart wants to question.
God is love. And love is patient. So if we want God in our lives, then so should we be.
Amen.
