… explains a lot of things to me. The book says that sometimes we are led to pray or petition for something or someone continuously until God answers. It is one way of showing faith and trust in God. I think this has been happening to me without my knowing that there is actually a term for that. It’s not accidental that the same thought prayers about other people are in my head at seemingly random times in the day. These thoughts also sometimes come at the oddest of times, when I least expect them to pop in my head, and I send short, quiet prayers to God, one sentence affairs that end with me thanking Him, and that His will be done no matter what. Now I know that I am probably being led to pray a prayer of importunity.
