… is one I understand very well. A spoken word said in anger or in tenderness, in love or in hate, in encouragement or debasement, could spell the difference or direction of any kind of relationship.
A picture is worth a thousand words, but even just a few would suffice if they are being anticipated for by an avid listener.
Now, we bullet-point:
- And again with the precognition! This morning the two main thoughts running through my head were ‘reaching out’ and ‘opening up’. I’m good with words, but not so much with the ‘reaching out’ and ‘opening up’, which are two of things for which words are very effective, and which they should be used for.
- For example, I should reach out to my mom and open up with her about what’s happening in my life right now, but I just can’t.
- I like this phrase, ‘a word spoken with due season.’
- It’s not musical or metaphorical
- The comparison that comes to mind is ‘delicious’ but I guess that’s just because of the word ‘season’ in it, as in ‘seasoning’
- But yeah, words can be delicious too at times
- I listened to the songs in my list over and over again, and now they are running through my head and I almost have all the words and tones down, and I think that’s a good thing.
- I don’t really have the head for the writing today though. This entry is going to be published, bullet points and all.
- Part of my prayer today, “Lord, please let it come to nothing. I will take what you will give, but please consider taking this one thing back, if You will. I might not be strong enough for it yet.“
