Lord God, anoint me with Your spiritual gifts that I may be blessed with more than just earthly knowledge, and more of Your spiritual guidance and leading. Empty me of worldly things that should not occupy my head, and fill me with Your holy wisdom. Let Your spirit descend upon me and make the contents of my head and heart be beholden unto You, pleasing unto You, and holy unto You. Saturate my soul oh Lord that I may never forget that my wisdom and knowledge come from You alone. Use me oh Lord, and strengthen my body that I may use my wisdom and knowledge in the service of Your Kingdom. Convict my heart oh Lord, that I may always use my wisdom and knowledge to further Your cause, in proclaiming Your Word, relentlessly and wholeheartedly.
Empower me with the gift of speaking Your words with conviction, that Your people will see Your love flowing in my heart, and Your Words flowing through my lips. Help me to find the right words that have power and meaning, words that are not difficult to understand, words that are appropriate for people. Help me to find gentle words that encourage, said with the grace of a handmaiden of the Lord. Help me to find strong words that empower, declared with the conviction of a warrior woman of God.
